Privacy policy

Wacha helps you cut down on smoking and drinking at your own pace. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it. The short version: it stays on your phone.
What Wacha keeps, and where
Everything you enter is stored only on your phone: your plan, the cigarettes and drinks you log, cravings, journal entries, your name and reason, your voice message, prices and settings.
Wacha has no accounts and no servers. We don’t receive, see or store any of this information.
What Wacha doesn’t do
No analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Wacha doesn’t sell or share your information with anyone, and doesn’t use it to show you ads.
Permissions
Notifications: used for your countdown alarm and the reminders you choose. They are scheduled on your phone. You can turn each one off in Settings.
Microphone: used only when you choose to record a voice message. The recording is saved on your phone and is never uploaded.
If you contact us
If you send feedback, your email app sends it to us. We use your message and email address only to reply, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Backups
Your phone may include Wacha’s data in its own backups (iCloud or Google). Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies, not by us.
Deleting your information
You can erase everything at any time in Settings → Erase all data, or by deleting the app. Because we don’t hold a copy, there is nothing left for us to delete.
Health information
Wacha supports your own decision to quit or cut back. It isn’t medical advice, a medical device or a treatment program. Talk to a doctor if you have health concerns.
Who Wacha is for
Wacha is meant for adults. It isn’t directed at children.
Changes
If Wacha ever starts sending information off your phone (for example to back up your progress or to process a subscription), we’ll update this policy before that change reaches you, and say exactly what is sent and why.
